Leak-Tightness Testing of Cargo Containers

Tightness Testing of Cargo Containers, Hatch Covers in Ships, Vacuumed Vessels, Diving Systems, Pressure Tanks, & Watertight Compartments 

Ultrasonic Waves produced by a ultrasonic transmitter placed within an enclosed space will be released through any opening and the space is sealed. Thus any leakage of the sound may then be detected by a receiver or detector and convert them into aural frequencies or into digitally reproduced information.

Process:
  1. You have to approach us giving details of the pressure, vacuum tank/vessel/compartment to be tested.
  2. Our expert will visit site and carry in-situ testing of the given space.
  3. The leaks will be detected and marked with marker.
  4. Detailed report will be submitted after inspection.
 
Preface:
The basic procedure comprises placing the Ultrasound Transmitter in the closed space (Cargo, Vessel, Container, Ship Compartment, and Tanker etc.), switching it on, properly closing, and securing the hatch covers or access equipment to seaworthy, vacuum, Pressure requirements.
The ultrasonic waves emitted by the transmitter within the enclosed space, will leak through even the smallest of apertures. Location of leaked emissions in way of hatch covers/ tankers/ vessels/ containers can be precisely detected from outside the hold by moving the handheld detector along the periphery, cross seams of the covers, doors, joints etc. Evaluation of the extent of leakage can be established from the reading of the digital scale.
